Here's the BlackBerry 8800 accessory price list

Boy Genius came up with this. It's on his site (link below) as well as our fellow site Engadget Mobile.

Caveat, though. Got a magnifying glass handy?

I say this because this is a grab apparently from a scanned document. The print is tiny, but can be read with some artful squinting, a magnifying glass or perhaps some of both.

In between convention attendance and vacation (which I am supposed to be on now), I've been Photoshopping in a major way to get this image right for you. But you should be able to make some of this stuff out.

The grab is after the jump.

UPDATED: A case for two new BlackBerry cases

Note: This post is now updated with corrected details.

Ever wonder what a "Donaldson acoustic membrane vent" is?

Sounds kind of science-tech. Well matter of fact it is. This is a technology that allows for transmission of sound from handheld devices while keeping the case sealed.

In this, uh, case, the cases we are talking about are the new OtterBox 1930 and 1931.

Just received an email from them, noting that these cases are now available for the BlackBerry 87xx series (1930) and the 72xx family (1931).

Specs, pricing and pic available after the jump.

Seido Extended Battery For The Pearl Now Available

Seido now has an extended battery complete with new back panel available for the BlackBerry Pearl.

The new battery is 2400mAh, which according to Seido provides about 170% more capacity than the batteries the Pearl comes with.

It increases the Pearl's thickness by about 6mm.

Right now the battery is $49.95 and set to be shipped around the 25th or 26th of January.

The price includes the new battery cover that includes cut outs for the speaker, camera, and self portrait mirror.

The website says the battery cover is black, which might be a problem for a white Pearl owner.

BoxWave Releases Pearl Desktop Cradle

BoxWave posted their new Pearl Desktop Charger on Pinstack for everyone to see.

It supports the high speed USB 2.0 for data transfers. The cradle also comes with an AC adapter for another charging option. It also makes it useful when you don't have your PC or laptop with you.

The cradle without the spare battery charger is $32.95 with a $7.00 web special discount.

The cradle with the spare battery charger will set you back $52.95, also with a $7.00 web special savings.

Boxwave Armor Case - A Very Protective Case

Boxwave's Armor Case for the 8700 is a good case to keep your BlackBerry safe.

Pros
- It is a hard case that should be able to help protect your BlackBerry
Cons - The keys around the edges can be harder to get to, as well as the escape button. There is no sleeper function.
Price - $29.95 via Boxwave website
Rating - 4 of 5 stars

This is a very solid case. I had no trouble slipping the BlackBerry in the case. It fits snugly, but doesn't seem to be too tight. There is black foam lining the inside to protect the Blackberry from scratches and ensure a snug fit.

The clip is removable. It screws into the back of the case so if you want to be clip free there is not a knob on the back for the clip to hook on to.

Patent app describes simultaneous recharging of multiple BlackBerry batteries

Technology described in a new BlackBerry Patent application would enable two or more BlackBerry batteries to be recharged simultaneously.

Patent Application 20070001644, "Methods and Apparatus For Simultaneously Charging Multiple Rechargable Batteries," contains an Abstract that says:

"A charger has two or more separate charging ports to which two or more rechargeable batteries can be coupled, respectively. Current from a single current source is allocated to the two or more separate charging ports so that the two or more rechargeable batteries will be fully charged at substantially the same time."

OK so that's cool. But why is this necessary? This Patent app's literature explains clearly.

Sport Holster Avialble For Active BlackBerry Owners

Ever gone out biking and not had a safe convenient place to put your BlackBerry? Or maybe when you go out on a jog?

Personally, not a problem for me, I don't jog, bike, or do anything that works up a sweat.

For those of you who do work out there is a nifty Sport Holster available from Urban Tool. It has pockets for your BlackBerry, mp3 player and anything else you might need to carry along.

It is sold by a European Company so be prepared for conversion, it costs 49.50 Euros. Some of the website is not in English, but some is. Let us know if you get one.

The Li lon sleeps tonight: that is, until your regular BB battery runs out

I know that a number of you are traveling, are planning to travel, and may forget/have forgotten their BlackBerry charger.

I too, have been there. And it is a bit of an unpeaceful, uneasy feelin' when you're down to two bars with three days left on the road and no charger with you.

Just noticed that the BoxWave website has several new Lithium Ion (Li- lon) batteries listed.

One of them is for the BlackBerry 7210. But they stock for most other Blackberry models.

Deal: get a spare for extra insurance when you forget your charger.

This is a pretty good price: $19.95 plus shipping/handling, etc.

In your cold, dead hands...new gloves ease cold weather BlackBerry use

Today is the first day of winter.

News flash: Winter=cold (until climate change kicks in that is)

When your hands are cold, you are outside and need to use your BlackBerry, you've traditionally had three choices:

Get thee inside. Not always practical.

Shiver your hands while you operate your handset. Painful, and haste to get your BB mission accomplished will be painful with each tap.

Put on your standard gloves and then use your device. Doesn't provide the tactile smoothness you need to navigate the small BlackBerry keyboard.

Oh but now a Montreal company has come up with tactile leather gloves called iTWYF.

Stands for I Touch With Your Fingers!

Just laughed in mild kink mode but this is true.

Here's how this works.

Really nice Otter Box BlackBerry 87xx case coming soon

BBForum Member compares three Pearl cases

BlackBerryForums Member phungy (I wonder about that moniker, BTW), is on the case (OK to say "ba-boom ba bing" silently to yourself) with a review contrasting three Seidio skins/cases for the BlackBerry Pearl.

That'd be:

Seidio's Jet Black Silicone Skin, their Super Slim Crystal Case and their Rubberized Case.

Put phungy for the Rubberized Case. He likes the feel much better than the silicone skin, and thinks the Rubberized case "feels nice and smooth," too.

That the Jet Black Silicone Skin case at the top of this post. It's a case, not a descriptor of a human being.

OK, two more pix for ya:

Battery-charge bug reported in BlackBerry OS 4.1, 4.2

Clifton of BlackBerry Alliance member Man & Machine writes to let us know that the $129 CoolMIR external BlackBerry keyboard supports every BlackBerry device except the BlackBerry Pearl 8100.

While that certainly is news, the reason why the Pearl isn't supported yet is even bigger news. That is, there seems to be some charging issues related to BlackBerry OS 4.2.

And it's not only OS 4.2 that seems to be encountering problems.

Ho-Foer tumster: are my Pearl, Razr chargers interchangeable?

Howard Forums Member tumster is wondering whether the chargers that came with his BlackBerry Pearl, Motorola RazrV3 and Motorola H605 Bluetooth headsets are interchangeable.

"Although the voltage is the same, the amps are different," he writes. "Based on what I have read in other threads, the charger should be safely interchangeable."

Tumster then qualifies his only reason for doubt.

"My thinking is that the Razr charger at 850mA may be a little high for the Pearl," he adds. "But then they all charge from the computer USB port the same..."

When it comes to authoritative answers in this question, fellow Howard Forums Member H-bomb's response is da bomb:
