Really nice Otter Box BlackBerry 87xx case coming soon

A page on the Otter Box site (link below this post) describes the forthcoming OtterBox 1930 BlackBerry 8700 Series Case.

We don't know the price yet, but we are informed that the case will be made of a polycarbonate/ABS shell and rubber overmolding for grip and drop protection.

There's also going to be sealed access to the keypad, scroll wheel, escape, power and mute buttons, as well as the programmable side button.

Oh and the screen cover. Did someone say screen cover?

Come along. I'll tell you and show you as well.

Well, we're looking at a rigid screen cover and something called WL Gore membrane vents that allow sound to travel while the case is being protected from the elements.

There's asl a lockable latch and an o-ring case seal.

If ya really, really want a swivel belt clip, well Otter Box can do that, too.

This device, which has not yet been formally released, is quite like the BlackBerry 8700 but is hearing-aid compatible.

The shots I show you first surfaced last night on BlackBerry Forums and Member dc/dc.

At the top, you see the device.

But there's more.

That's the bonafides in the back. And yes, seems like lots of BlackBerrys are being manufactured in Mexico these days.

T-Mobile introduces BlackBerry 8705g

The BlackBerry 8705g has made it to T-Mobile's website. It's QUAD-bank, with network support on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS and EDGE networks. This makes it possible for international roaming between North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

This device also is functional as a tethered modem. This means you can connect your laptop to the Internet via your BlackBerry.

More deets about the tethered modem capability is here.

So newly posted, no definitive pricing yet. But I expect these details to be available in short order.
