QuickPlayer for BlackBerry was announced as being available worldwide on Tuesday.A new update is that QuickPlayer does work on the 8703e now and it did not before.
QuickPlayer is still free to download and try, but it is $7.95 a month to have the full service. It is billed to a credit card, not to your phone bill.
If you haven't checked it out yet, as most 8703e owners probably haven't, check it out. I certainly will be.

1. Thanks for the information about the availability of the QuickPlayer for the 8703e!
I just downloaded the app OTA and the s/w installation on my Verizon 8703e went just fine, but I've not been able to get -any- of the preview content to play/display on the device.
The buffering and dislay of the image associated with the selected content stream loads just fine, and I even see something indicating the actual preview content downloaded OK (100%). However, that is followed with a 'Service Unavailable' message and that's the end of it.
Have any other Verizon 8703e customers had any better luck viewing any of the QuickPlayer content?
