A BBHub reader writes that he has just downloaded Yahoo! Go For Mobile.
That after several readers reported last week that their download attempts resulted in notifications the beta was filled.
"I believe its out of the beta stage and no longer gives the 'testing is full' message," he writes. "Loaded great. Sharp icon but it runs slower than expected. Good features though. Still not sure if its a keeper."
2. I've got it installed on my 8700c. It seems like it has potential, but it crashes frequently and lacks some key features like access to messenger, which seems like a natural fit for this product. The map looks good and I like the navigation, and the Flikr connector seems well thought out and is easy to use. The main pages of the news, entertainment, finance and sports channels seem a forced and don't make good use of screen space.
3. I managed to download and install as well on my Pearl. It is not ready for prime time. First, it continues to insist I live in Sunnyvale (wrong coast) and text entry is limited to multiple button presses (I have not really played with it that much to find out if I can turn the regular text entry on). As for the speed, it does seem a lot slower than the Google apps I had downloaded.

4. Just downloaded it via Blackberry browser http://get.go.yahoo.com
I have to say it rocks. Still a little shaky and some features are easier to set up via my.yahoo.com. But I can only recomend it!!! Fun to play with ;-)

5. Just tried to download, but no luck. Still get the Beta full error. Is Yahoo favouring certain phones, like MOtorola and Blackberries.
Can someone post or email the app.
Do you have access to all your Yahoo contacts via the app?

6. I have it loaded on my 8700. It works fairly well but it would be nice if they added support for a calendar sync. I keep my calendar on Yahoo and I hate having to connect my BB to my desktop at home to sync. Most of the time I'm on the road and would like a seamless sync feature.

1. No it's just an extended beta. When it said it was full they asked if they could send an sms message when it was not. Assumed they added more capacity since I got my message Thursday. It still needs some work... But looks like it will be very nice once they fix the stability and speed issues.
