1. Love or hate the blackjack I don't think anyone can deny RIM is just mad that their Pearl release thunder has been stolen by other devices. What's next, is RIM going to file lawsuits against everything that starts with "black" or ends in "berry"? And wait until RIM goes after Disney for the Pirates movie series, after all, the name of Captain Jack's ship is the Black Pearl isn't it.

2. First off Blackberry smokes any other smart device out there. All windows devices seem nice at first, then you start using them and their processors are god awful. They all freeze, crash, reset, etc. If you have ever used a Blackberry 8700 or a Pearl with an Intel Processor you would understand how much better they are than Windows trash.

My old Qtek 2020i is an Intel CPU so you can't say an Intel BB is inherently better.

And as for crashes, you may have troubling believing this but the Windows Mobile OS is designed to soft reset in order to prevent known dead lock conditions. I can't say that much for the BB after having to perform a low level USB wipe and reinstall of the BB OS when my coworkers' BB's crash and won't boot back up.

6. RIM might have a case for any mobile device that has the word "black" or "berry" in the name. I just think Samsung should change the name to HackJack. That should make it better.

I don't believe anyone who is looking for a Blackberry is going to be confused over a Blackjack. Lawsuits like this have to make people think why this is such an issue. Maybe the Blackjack is just a much cooler device than the Blackberry ever will be.

7. No one serious enough about email will get the BlackBerry and the BlackJack mixed up. Samsung's device already sounds like a gimmick, and I am sure it is designed like one as well.
