A BBHub reader from Atlanta who I owe a beer if I'm ever in the area just emailed me privately with some screen shots I'm going to show you.

These screen shots attest to the immediate availability of the "Prelaunch" BlackBerry Pearl on the Business section of the Cingular website.

This is a big leap forward from the "Preorder" that we've shown you before. Preorder basically just included a form you could insert your email addy in if you wanted to be contacted when the Cingular BlackBerry Pearl is available.

But now this device most certainly is-especially for business customers.

I have three screen caps to show you. Come along...

There it is, with ADD TO CART testifying that the device is available now via the Cingular Business channel indicated in the Web addy.

With your company discount and a web discount too, you'd pay $229.99.

And as you can see, that's the first section of the specs.

But the spec section of Cingular's Pearl page has two sections.

As Staples' advertising slogan used to say: "yea, we got that."

When the Pearl goes up on the Cingy consumer site, we'll let you know.

1. Damn!!! I got turned on when I saw your post. I just called the Business Accounts number for Cingular. The agent said he saw pricing for the Pearl 3 days ago and then it was pulled back yesterday. Now it only shows up as 'coming soon'. He put me on hold, talked to someone and said it will be ready to ship for sure before the first. I asked if it will ship if I ordered it off the website and he said 'probably not since its only pre-launch'. If anyone else has had any luck, please let me know. I need my Pearl-fix and I need it now!!!

2. I just ordered 4. I had to go through our rep since the Premier website would wig out once you click checkout.

3. Just FYI,
Cingular premiere sent me my order number via email after I purchased though the site. This is live and working.

What I can't find is a description of PRELAUNCH and when the 8100 will actually ship. I did overnight so when it does ship, it will get here quickly!

4. Also, I don't think there was anyway the 8100 was up on the premiere site 3 days ago. I've been checking about twice a day for the past week! If it was up, it must have been pulled very quickly. At 5pm, and 9pm EST yesterday it still was not on my premiere site.

It's possible that an email I sent my rep got the device added to "my" premiere site. *shrug* I'm not sure how the cingular business/premiere site works, if it's all devices or just the ones your rep allows you to see.

don't know when it'll ship, gots me an order # though.
first day on site as I've been checking daily.

6. I just ordered mine, as a State employee it was even cheaper. It was $179 w/contract and I got an additional $25 off of that.

But it's $579 normally? That's $150 more than the T-Mobile version.

7. If you are a new customer is coo; to buy the pre-release but at base $579.99 base price...ouch!!! There are alot of non-new blackberry customers... is confusing that with discounton the web page is $229 and in the store is gonna be $150.00 i am writing this from my car in the corporate store here at West Palm Beach they have them and the manager told me that the base price will be $450 why more expensive on the web?

10. Just ordered mine. This is awesome, since if I went with the consumer site, I'd have to pay full retail since I'm not eligible for an upgrade yet.

11. Awesome!!!

I placed my oder with overnight shipping. I hope it will get shipped before the weekend.

I was qualified for an upgrade and changed my plans with my company's discount.

One thing I noticed in the last couple of weeks that Cingular.com got better with their Premier website. Before it wouldn't even recognize my e-mail address and have to call Cingular each time I need to purchase online to apply my company's discount. REJOICE Cingular!

I'm looking forward to my new phone.

12. It is now GONE from the Premier website. I bet they sold out. I called our Co Rep at Cingy and got no answer only voice mail.

14. Ordered 2 this morning when I saw the post, went back just now to order another for one of my users and it is no longer listed on the Premier site. Tried upgrade and new and it seems to be gone. Anyone else notice this?

15. I ordered one this morning over the phone, as I am exchanging an iPAQ 6925. I didn't receive a confirmation email, but I did get an order #. I called back after I saw it was removed from the website, just to make sure, and the guy told me they're backordered and that they don't have them in. I told him it was on Premier, and it was just released. After some initial confusion, he found out that a shipment is arriving tomorrow on the 29th. So if you ordered one, it should ship tomorrow.
