1. I was on the premier site a minute ago and used the "live help" to ask a rep what happened to the Pearl that was listed earlier today. Here is his answer:

RoXXX: Welcome to Cingular Wireless Premier Support, my name is RoXXX. I am reading your question and will be right with you.
RoXXX: It was offered for pre-order in error, and was removed shortly after. However, it should be available by the end of next week at the latest.

So, again, left hand not knowing the right.

3. Very interesting indeed. I thought it was DEC 1st so maybe that will stand. some web site tester thought he'd sneak that in the live site...oops!

Another point is that my company has much greater discounts on the actual phone prices. But the net is the same prices as above. the "web discount" seems to adjust to never give the end user too good of a price.

For example my pricing on the 7130 has almost the reverse. my company discount is approximately the web discount price in the snapshot above. but the web discount on mine is 'adjusted' to the same end price.

What's that about? maybe on new phones it restricts the end price but older can be adjusted lower? not sure
