Motorola announced today that it is acquriing Good Technology.
Good is one of BlackBerry's main competitors in the push email space. As a matter of fact, that's GoodLink's UI up there on the right.
Analyst Jack Gold tells CNET the move is a "questionable" one for Motorola.
"The greatest effect will be on Palm, though not immediate. This weakens them overall in the market and pushes them closer to Microsoft," Gold told CNET's Erica Ogg v ia email.
Oh, and RIM, Jack?
"RIM gains another competitor with much deeper pockets than Good had to promote their products," Gold added to Ogg.
