Splashdata now has their SplashPhoto program available for BlackBerrys. It will work on the 7100 series, 7200 series, 7500 series, 8700 series, and the Pearl. It is said to be the best-selling photo software for PDAs and smart phones.

The program has a slide show option, as well as the viewing the pictures individually. There is also a pan and zoom available. The desktop software allows you to edit and organize images.

According to the information on the website it says you can send images to other mobile devices via email. The BlackBerry picture application only lets you send pictures via MMS or BlackBerry Messenger.

I am downloading it to try out on my BlackBerry and should have a review very soon. I am interested in the email option. Can't wait to see if it really works.
