BlackBerry Crimson 8800- YES, A CAMERA! Here's pix, specs

BoyGenius tells us to expect this one in Spring, 2007. Also an 8800- but this one's QWERTY WITH a camera.

More of a consumer model, Crimson's got a camera with digital zoom, flash and video recording. And a media player, too, woo-hoo.

All the specs you'd want to know about.

And here is some insight as to how BlackBerry and carrier partners will position this device in the market. But hey, I want one and I am not 25-40. Still act like I am, though..

4. Wifi?? This can go along with T-Mobile's efforts to launch phones/PDAs with wifi...any thoughts?

5. Heh, that marketing presentation pretty much hits me right on the head. Verizon, can you hear me now? Unlike #2 and #3, I *would* leave Verizon for Cingular to get this device, if Cingular comes out with this first. SF Bar Area coverage is pretty comparable between VZW and Cingular. And I'm kinda tired of the nickel & diming each statement period...

This is the one I've been waiting for -- full QWERTY 'berry plus a camera. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. My monthly calling & data dollars are going to whichever provider comes out with this first!

7. The Crimson needs to have a pre-loded SlingMedia Player for Slingbox owners and for people that want to Sling from a Blackberry. Oh wait.... SlingMedia hasnt put out anything for the Blackberry market yet??????? hmmmmmm.......
