BBBatteryWatch is great for those of us who like to know every detail we can about our Blackberry. Pros - Simple to install and use.
Cons - What does Battery Status mean? Uses the generic icon in the menu.
Price - $4.99 via Handango
Rating - 4 of 5 Stars
This application could not be easier to install. Just load it using your Desktop Manager and you're good to go. It works immediately without any extra hassle. I don't have to go anywhere else or change any settings to find out exactly how much juice is left. I can even tell if my berry has a fever. Winter is coming, even here in Florida, so I have to keep an eye out for any colds or virus' she might catch.
The Battery Voltage is there, which is probably not available anywhere else on the Blackberry, although I haven't looked. I can't wait to tell my husband what my voltage is on my BB, I know he will understand and be jealous. The PIN is also available, so there is no longer a need to go into Options and Status to get it. It'll also remind me that my battery is removable and what device I am on. However if I forget either I would be concerned.
But the one thing it shows that makes me wonder the most is Battery Status. What does it mean? Anyone have any idea? Please, please let me know if you do. I can see it will be one of those things that will bug me all day.
My suggestions if S4BB was to make another version - include definitions and make a pretty icon for the menu. As an American I would like to see the temperature in F instead of C. Add more cool tidbits of info as there is still some room left on the screen. Otherwise, this is a nifty little utility.
It is compatible with most of the 7100's, 7200's, 7500's, 7700's, 8700's, and of course the Pearl. I used my 8700 to run the application. Check out the page on Handango for the full listing.

1. i believe the battery status is something related to if it's being charged or whatnot...
