From the sound of it, emerging LPGA golf star Morgan Pressel is one heck of a BlackBerry enthusiast.
During an interview with Chris Silva of the Detroit Free-Press, the 18-year-old Pressel (who finished second in the 2005 LPGA Open) repeatedly pointed and clicked her BlackBerry, checking her email and texting friends and family.
"She repeated the action over and over for the next 15 minutes," writes Silva, "not once taking her eyes off the small screen as she gave an interview and signed autographs."
Pressel bought her BlackBerry just last week, which she had originally intended for email text messaging and wireless Internet use. She also has a Treo, but doesn't sound enamored with that device.
"I hated it -- (the Treo) actually completely froze on me and wouldn't turn on," she said to Silva. Referring to the BlackBerry she was holding in her right hand, she said, "this is actually a lot better."
