So I am reading this blog entry from a chap named Jason Langridge.
Seems like Jason was standing in front of the Boston Convention Center, and became annoyed at all these people checking their emails and talking on their BlackBerrys.
Then, as Jason tells it, he thought he would have some fun blue-jacking people's BlackBerrys.
He then describes how he used a product called Sniper, that lets you send anonymous text message to BlackBerry-user passerby. That's called blue-jacking.
Some of the messages Jason sent were:
"Warning - you are about to walk into someone"
"Please look where you are going"
"Stop doing your email - it can wait"
Don't you just love it when self-important people are deflated? Trust me, I know the feeling well...

1. I doubt that the BB users really received the messages. The BB is not able to receive messages via Bluetooth. BT on the BB is restricted to the serial and headset/handsfree protocol. To be able to receive the messages, the BB would have to support the OBEX protocol. This protocol is not implemented on the BB!
