Google and BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion have announced that Google Talk will be supported on the Blackberry OS.
Google Talk for BlackBerry will be a version of the instant messaging application
specifically designed for
BlackBerry handsets. It will allow users to send and
receive instant text messages with other members of
the Google Talk community,
while on the go.
The BlackBerry-flavored Google Talk, version, which the companies say will be available sometime this spring, will also allow users to add, delete and rename contacts, know when their friends are online and available, leave conversations and resume them later, copy conversation text into memory and even be notified when a message is being typed.
At this point, it does not appear that the voice component of Google Talk will be supported, though.

1. I think that the google talk would've been a more useful feature since most people use msn or yahoo for their IM anyway
