Over on the RIM section of the Howard Forums mobile phone site, Member jjct1 starts a thread about a common problem most of us have had. Including myself, less than two weeks ago.
I'm talking about a locked screen with weird looking readings.
"The screen that shows when my BlackBerry 7280 is locked has changed. It looks normal, but when I press any
button, every item turns black(blue border turns to two black lines,etc), the date and time goes to large and bold
(maybe the font changed)," writes jjct1 in a thread he's entitled "My Locked Screen Changed? How to change it
back?" "The conection type gets wrapped down a line. What happened?
"If I unlock the Blackberry, everything (would go) back to normal," he notes. "How do I
fix this?
Fellow HoFo Member martin_j001posts the correct answer.
"Try a hard reset or pulling the battery," he advises. "That may help, as it sounds like a
software glitch of some kind."
