Travel and destination content provider WCITIES (I'm not shouting- they spell their name in all caps) has just come out with Pod CityGuides. And no, you don't need an iPod to download this free content. Works on BlackBerry, too.
Whether on your PC or via your BlackBerry browser, you go online to the PodCityGuide site, select the city you want your Pod CityGuide for, complete a short preferences questionaire, and then get directed to a download URL.
The guide is updated regularly with concert and movie events. Downloading a new version once a month wouldn't be a good idea.
