Loyal BBHub reader crisambo writes to let us know that he has been told that he will receive a BlackBerry 8700c while in attendance at the Cingular launch event for the new model this Tuesday in New York City.
"I'll get my 8700c on Tuesday Nov. 1 at the NYC launch," he writes. "I was told by Cingular Sales Exec that each and every attendee will go home with one."
Still, crisambo adds that he is wondering what type of activation and service agreement Cingular require, especially since he is currently on T-Mobile and Nextel BlackBerry service plans.
(In) "speaking with my T-Mobile sales rep this afternoon, he wasn't even aware of the 8700c, so I asked him to look into it and he'll get back to me a.s.a.p," he writes. "Maybe I should get him registered and attend the launch?"
