Our sister site Engadget has the complete scoop on the Motorola ROKR E1. More popularly known as the Apple iTunes phone, it is now posted for sale on the Cingular site for $249.99 with a two-year service agreement.Although the ROKR is a phone, its primary appeal is as a 100-song-capacity music player.
I was curious to see if any BlackBerry users who frequent areas such as BlackBerryForums.com, the BlackBerry section on HowardForums and even the Yahoo! BlackBerry Users Group had anything to say about the ROKR. Remarks such as "why can't BlackBerry make something like that," or whatever.
No reaction. Nada. Not one new related post since the release.
Actually, this isn't surprising. After all, the product's name ROKR (rocker) sounds like a music player. A further clue becomes evident when you see how Cingular is marketing the thing - a music player first, and oh, by the way, a phone, too.
That's just not the world of the BlackBerry user.

1. A blackberry w/ an MP3 player and an SD expansion would be real cool- that would mean one less piece of electronics I have to carry with me in the gym...
And how about an IR Remote program so I can turn on the TVs (at the gym as well)...
Bundle this with a GPS + bluetooth model (and add some real Bluetooth device support!) and I would definately upgrade my old 7780...
