Within a couple of months, you will be seeing more BlackBerrys in use on several Caribbean island nations and territories.Bermuda-based Digicel Group doesn't currently operate there, but does offer wireless service in Aruba, Barbados, the Cayman Islands,Curacao,Grenada, Jamaica, St Vincent & The Grenadines and St. Lucia.
Digicel Group Marketing Director Ben Atherton says the move to offer BlackBerry services is part of an initiative under way by Digicel to better serve its corporate customers.
No word yet on which BlackBerry model(s) wil be offered by Digicel - but given the fact that Digicel has applied to purchase Cingular Wireless Caribbean, I'd sure bet on the BlackBerry 7100g.
