Is this a photo of the newest BlackBerry?

There's a photo of the purported next-generation BlackBerry floating around the Blogosphere.

The photo is of the "BlackBerry Electron" series. First saw the photo this morning on PDALive, which had apparently found it on Palmaddict. Couldn't find anything abou it on Palmaddict, though.

The low-res grab I've put up here really doesn't tell us much, but the very fact that this is image is starting to fly around the Blogosphere may clue us in that BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion has Electron in late alpha or early beta.

RIM's probably reading this, so if you have suggestions for Electron, then by all means comment below this link.

2. hello RIM! My comments = please (PLEASE!) add a memory card, but dont bother with a camera unless +1mgp. Incorporating PDA programs is a welcome change, would love to use pocket quickbooks on my bb.

5. Definitely no camera but do add a high quality speakerphone, additional memory and a larger higher resolution display. A memory card would be great as would a way to transfer your addressbook to handsfree car systems. Finally and most improtantly add user independent voice dialing by name and digit. It is very hard to one handed dial a number or find a name while driving with the current set up.

6. Pushed out ear piece so it's easier to find the "sweet spot" when holding next to your ear. The Treos have that and it really helps the phone functionality considerably.

7. I reluctantly bought a BB because my Carrier didnt carry any other PDA type phone, and I was blown away. I would only change three things. 1. Ringer volume, to soft on the high setting, some sort of memory slot and connectivity with quick books. A camera is not nessesary.
